my mum played oldies 103.3 ~boston~ in the car, actually come to think of it she never drove with the radio off -- and from this i learned the shit out of motown and all that but now the station bought out, changed formats. i get in an uber today, and it smells like incredibly rancid, pungent farts. i'll have to burn these clothes after, but i'll live. anyways, as i get in, i take off my headphones to say hello properly, sit down, buckle in. but then "tainted love" is on the radio. i think "oh alright this is better than they usually do" and don't put my headphones back on. then, next, burning down the house. i think: the fuck is this, spotify or what? i crane over to see his dashboard widgets, and... it's 103.3 and i think: it was the oldies station and now it's playing tainted love, does this mean i'm old? so apropos thred, sir |
