Ah, very cool. Interesting that the old trackers could do sample slicing like that, I mean not pre-chopping them into separate hunks but selecting start points for different notes. |

you get one byte to describe where the sample starts and this has kind of backfired in modern times when you casually load a 15-second drum loop and don't have enough bits to jump more than 1/3 of the way through |
