Digitakt is great. I use one with a Midibrain to sequence
Eurorack drums. Lovely little sampler too though.

If you like the S950's sound, have you thought about getting
a MUM M8 (S950 filter clone) in Eurorack and sending the
Digitakt's output into that?

thanks for the recommendation, it costs £175 though, which
is a bit expensive for a lowpass filter with vca

ceri do you have a soundcloud? what's your artist name?

I haven’t used it for a while, I haven’t got the room
and the hard drive needs redoing which is annoying, I like
the limitations sometimes you know?

Just seen behringer eurorack modules are going to cost
between 50-100 Dollars, brilliant

Bought an 8hp dual vca from doepfer only to realise that
there's a 4hp version that does the same thing and is 20
quid cheaper. Gutted. Always pays to do research before
buying modules.

seen this thread? it's based on a recent facebook post by an
underground developer who says behringer is ripping off the
designs of smaller companies

does it change your mind about behringer? i probably won't
be buying any behringer stuff because i dont really need it.
already got a lot of stuff.but i can understand why people
are buying their gadgets.

hmm, it links to an old thread with people ranting about the
matrixsynth blog. couldn't find any connection to behringer,
but i also didn't read the whole thread

i also don't want to start a conversation about behringers
evil strategies, the internet is full of that. but yeah, i
heard some nasty things which i don't like. but i have
nothing against cloning vintage gear, that people collect. i
remember selling my sh-101 to a collector snob. what an
asshole. but i needed the money to travel

its cool that the good old machines get liberated from that.
cloning is not against the law and its also not a sucker
move. and i just see the opportunity of getting a good
sounding synth for small money

its crazy that you can get the moog sound for 299. i like
that. still can't decide between the pro-1 and the model d
clone. will need to jam

might not be what yr after as it's a "jack of all trades"
pedal but the zoom 505 is 40 quid or thereabouts. it's
programmable so you can get some good fx just via
experimenting
