any toys this time

He could if he wanted to but he stays loyal to one girl. Her
father died recently of kidney failure. No fucking NHS here.
Her mother had a mini stroke recently so she's in bad
condition. And she has a 12 year old brother. He doesn't
have many toys so I bought him a mechano set

Kate and her friend yangjiameng.
I put up an ad for a Chinese teacher Years ago when I was
living in China. She replied. I haven't seen her in 6 years.
We kept in touch via WeChat, the Chinese equivalent of
WhatsApp. She's lovely, we had some good meals today.

You know, I just came back to this thread to say that I
noticed from MuffWiggler that Ceri JC has a massive fucking
modular and it's a shame that he hasn't posted on here in
ages because he'd be a great addition to our little micro
modular community.

AND HERE YOU ARE!!!

Gentleman, now that Ceri JC has joined us can we please get
back to discussing eurorack?

I just discovered that this is now a thing, which
seems like a dank AF way to integrate a laptop set with a
modular (something I'm working on doing now). Yeah, Expert
Sleepers stuff has existed for a while, but I like this
format/feature set.

Indie, did you get your Milky Way yet? *reads thread*
Delayed to the end of the month, the fuck.

Hello Zephyr Twin,
I do indeed like a bit of the old Eurorack. Earlier this
evening I managed to desolder a tiny SMD capacitor and blow
it across the room, never to be seen again, whilst trying to
assemble a DIY SSF Quantum Rainbow 2 using a rework gun,
because I appear to have misplaced my soldering iron during
the last house move and it's probably buried under 2 tonnes
of vinyl in the loft.

In other Eurorack news, one of these bad boys is in
the mail.

I had seen the VCMC. Might get one for either that Behringer
MS-20 clone and/or the Solina Strings module that annoyingly
only has Midi in. Befaco are really nice people. They were
really good helping with the Happy Ending service for a
couple of modules I couldn't fix myself. I really like their
VC ADSR, the gates out over stage end and CV control over
parameters mean you can cross-modulate 2 or 3 and it strays
into sequencer territory. Rampage is great too.

I like playing with Eurorack with my infant daughter. If I'm
on a laptop on a DAW she gets annoyed if I don't let her
press the keys and she invariably deletes/nudges something,
whereas on Eurorack, she just carries the cables for me and
stares at the blinkenlights in wonder.

What're your Eurorack tips and secrets gentlemen?

My girl loves the Volca Drum. It's amazing how easy it is
for nippers to get something out of it that sounds good.

Slightly worrying question, but is your girl a nipper?

Is this when it becomes hilarious to do Wales jokes?

Missed the train by two minutes, only train left had only
luxury tickets left. Had to pay 160 quid each for the
tickets lol. Otherwise we would be missing tomorrow's flight
home.

You've fit loads in there, looks great! I really want a
benjolin.

Already started on my second case, I'm building it and as
many of the modules as possible myself, 2x104hp. Should take
a year or two I reckon.

did you already buy more stuff than your 84hp case?

i will stop here. this was the last thing i wanted to get
together

i have a sq-1, 0coast and a micro brute
i also have a pisound
it has stereo in and out, dc coupled

if i wanted another module, i think it would be something
tom erbe did. i like the erbe verb. but its super expensive
and i though i might just build something similar myself
with pure data and put it on the raspberry. it would be mono
in, stereo out and i could use one channel for cv
modulation
