aww, octopuses are great. any dog owner will tell you their pet dreams though... running, growling etc. cats do too, sleepy twitching and muted meowing. animals do have an inner life |

any dog owner will tell you their pet dreams though... running, growling etc. cats do too, sleepy twitching and muted meowing. animals do have an inner life never fails to give me the giggles, a dog chasing something and woofing mildly whilst asleep. i've thot about the topic a good bit, really. like -- dogs see in black and white, mostly. so, obviously, their dreams must be black and white. if dogs invented language, they wouldn't say, "looks good to me," they would woof, "smells good to me" but both humans and dogs appreciate "sounds good to me" |

When my daughter was a few days old and sleeping she would have Rapid Eye Movement and make agitated facial expressions and weird Lovecraftian noises. It must have been quite bizarre dreams of milk. |

I get the vague impression of coloured light like looking at daylight through your eyelids and shifting shadows, I don't know if my dreams were like that, at that age but I imagine they weren't very high resolution or developed |
