the interpolation of different soundwaves, on one of the
three voices is really impressive I guess its using some
sort of interrupt timing to get it so it sounds interlaced

they're saying here that this is an emulator. at
least for that track, but i'm assuming that goes for all,
then.
been some time i've heard the analogue sound.
also i never heard it on anything else than a monitor
speaker

At first I thought this was going to be a oscilloscope
pointed at voltage from ones of those emeter things that
scientologiest have
Then i remembered who Rob Fuckin Hubbard is

i believe the C64 has an analogue filter which would be the
hardest thing to replicate, but also i'm guessing emulation
is at a point where it still sounds totally solid and wicked
anyway.

recently(...ish) got a SID GUTS eurorack module, cos my
mates old C64 is broken and i was never too sure what to do
with it. not complete control over the channels compared to
SIDSTATION or SAMMICH SID but still fun to play with,
especially combined with whatever modulation sources you're
playing with in the eurorack setting.

also, that Pink Floyd/Koyanisqatsi C64 mashup was wicked.
