there's this viral vid/gif of a bunch of UAE guys. they have a some large cat -- tiger? cheetah? chained up in a corner. one arab chap is leaning in, trying to get the perfect cameraphone shot, and one of his mates promptly kicks him in the ass, leaving him sprawled in front of the large cat, who promptly begins taking swipes. he loses control of his bowels, as everyone around erupts with laughter. in the discussion of the vid, someone requested an explanation of this fucking shit. UAE response was, "lots of money and no drugs" and it just gets more dismal, apparently, once drugs are involved. |

as horribly profiteering as the aladdin reboot was, at least will smith was involved. i say this dispute giving him as much shit as everyone else did in the relevant threads. halley bermaid, though? i pray this is the big-budget reboot flop that teaches disney a lesson -- but, hey, i don't actually have that much faith in the public. it will turn a profit, quietly, perhaps not what disney spank-dreamed to, but enough that we can look forward to, i dunno -- live action jungle book? charlie and the chocolate factory, very painfully absent gene wilder? but, at least, the creeping dinosaur death of big-budget flim has been offset by streaming art-house like black mirror. |

seriously do not even want to pirate the new aladdin, as equally as i will not even want to pirate bermaid 2.0. even for complete free, this is crap. probably not as horrid as total recall 2.0, but i wouldn't know, because i have carefully avoided seeing even a screencap from that as well. if we reboot robocop, do we have to retain dick jones' inhumanly-long arms amidst his terminal plummet as well? if not, i'm out. don't even get me started about the 'green calx' sample |
