no i meant if you read the books before you've seen the movie you should have an imagination of how everyone looks like in your head. so once you see the movie the characters are portrayed differeny than how you imagined them to be. sorry i totally didn't mean it in a negative way, you were just my little fairy epicmegatrax floating around and now i know what you look like in real life :( |

i had a stretch driving for uber, and my fare one evening was a guy who was a call-center sales guy. the uber GPS text-to-speech is blathering on incessantly, and he asks a very important question: "do you ever get sick of that bitch?" "oh, yeah," i say, "i call her linda." he laughs. "that's the perfect name for some dumb bitch secretary." at this point, my jaw drops. when i named that thing linda, i was more or less thinking, "if i had a dumb blonde secretary, what would her name be?" and the answer was linda. we get into a conversation about how certain names match certain sorts. he says, "yeah, i work in sales, calling people up, and i just can kind of tell what someone's like from their name and how they sound" i was immensely satisfied that i'd nailed the name. linda, my rock. how would i get anything done without her? not sure if i still have her or not. |
