a more obscure one called "lost in time" that stitched a lot
of live video together; that one was pretty good

dad forbade us from having leisure suit larry, deeming it
"inappropriate." by the time i was old enough to just
get/pirate it myself, i was playing team fortress classic
and counterstrike. maybe sometime soon i'll nab it

yeah broken sword is great, apart from that goat puzzle but
I managed to brute force my way through that even though it
was illogical in context to the rest of the puzzles

Blade Runner is an incredible game. The atmosphere is spot
on, many ways to beat the game. May very well be THE best
point and click adventure ever made. There’s a patch that
makes it compatible with modern pcs.

yes I will deffo look into it, I remember it had unique
voxel style graphics

zork was one of the earliest adventure games, yes, text.
when i was four or five dad dialed into a VAX and typed in
commands for me, whatever i thought. for a little kid sat in
front of an 80s text video game, it was remarkably clever at
responding properly to whatever i threw at it. i still
remember immediately telling dad "kill troll with sword" and
it worked

yep, I think I may have given up on the game there
originally and not return to beat it until later in life

im probably an even bigger far of text adventures than point
and click games as they are usually slightly less linear and
some have superb plots

TFC - so many hours spent playing that at my friend's house
until I could finally get my own computer that could run
source engine.

TF2 never scratched the same itch for me. Everything was
about being "funny" and selling "hats". Spent maybe 5 hours
playing TF2 and 500 playing TFC.

My first point and click experience ever was Quest for Glory
Anthology, so those games are pretty nostalgic for me
despite never getting very far in them. I think maybe Fate
of Atlantis was my favorite overall. I was more into
platformers, shooters, and proper RPGs so never got through
very many point and click adventures.
