VLC is the best for video, I'd use it for music too except Colibri does that one cool thing where you double click on a file and it opens in Colibri but also queues the rest of the files in that folder. Handy for us local filesystem album havers. |

It may be worth considering https://www.foobar2000.org/mac and https://youtu.be/5um6NEMZGZo?t=562 Any tracks added to your music folder will automatically be available. You can list by album cover, genre, or type the artist etc in. |
