Thanks for the "heads up" - this is fitting in nicely with today's grey, damp weather and this Houellebecq book I'm reading. I call this feeling depressed sci-fi. |

I do like his books in general. I just finished today The Map and the Territory, the art aspect of which was of particular interest to me. Its not really sci-fi, I know he's written more sci-fi in his manner, is that the Possibility of an Island? About clones? I've read Atomised (ends on a sci fi note), Platform, Submission (obvs) and that book he did on HP Lovercraft. He used to be very handsome and now he looks a bit like a goblin. I think its all the smoking. |
