too.

I honestly was listening to that last night on the way home
on the tube after dropping off the family at the airport. I
was in a sad, melancholy mood (obvs) ... so abstract,
timeless noise was what was required.

love the new autechre, hope the vinyl box is still available
in October. I want it for my birthday. I'm not buying this
myself this time. afx took my money with this new EP.

covered
in adverts.

Your body is so smooth and hairless.

yeah, i think somebody closed autechre into a vent at

a couple months back i was stopped at a red light and heard
some crazy drumming. it sounded like some crackhead trying
to drum 'n' bass at 180bpm, tempo all over the place, but
enough to hear what he was trying for

after driving by a few more times i realized it was actually
some sort of machine. never found out what. but if i go back
with a mic it's totally an autechre release

I think releasing these E.Ps in different styles is a great
idea, if they were released a bit more frequently, say 2 a
year you would get as much material as a single album, and
in diff styles anyway.

I was running my backpack through the dryer last week and it
made phase shifting euclidean rhythms you'd have to drop 10k
on a modular rack to achieve. Still kicking myself for not
recording it.

After a few plays, it's a great track. It's approximately 15
years too late, but it's great. I really don't like the
breakdown (collapse?!?!??!) at 2:00 in, I can't listen to it
without mentally hearing a pack of WATMM twats braying
"Yeahhhhh, WOOO!" in the background. The bit that comes
after is pure Aphexgasm and makes the price of entry
worthwhile. Almost.

I don't want to know any shit about "great production"...

so is this thing out or not? when will they deliver it to
you, Hyperflake/crazone?

14th of September its due out, if I get it by then Id be
amazed my postman is irregular to say the least, I saw him
being tested by his manager today with a clipboard seeing if
he could actually do his job, I think he is incompetent but
I like the guy he has always been good with me so I hope he
keeps his job

yeah to be honest I think he is a bit slow, you know mental
capacity of a 6 year old child, he always waits for me to
answer the door when he brings my vinyl

not sure what is wrong about waiting for you to answer the
door

no its good, some postman ring the door bell then
immediately bugger off down the path before you even get to
the door, this guy doesn't, perhaps he has slow reactions or
knows im slow to get to the door, I appreciate it for sure

I think its technically feasible, I just think the
government probably thought it wasn't a good idea having
drunk fliers, imagine cars falling through your roof at 3 in
the morning

cool.

Don't listen to the heretics Rich, I have fresh young ears
they have turned away from the true faith.

thrashing, wailing and moaning down in the 5th circle of
sodomy of Dantes inferno listening to the new autechre on
wax cylinders

imagine some sort of psychosis where you family members, and
then gradually everyone around you turned in to rick Astley
singing that song, like dogs with his face like invasion of
the body snatchers

perhaps day 1 well get an extended ver up on the warp page.
the few iterations in the intro dont add much but when
removed a lot is taken away. works well how he did it if
unfamiliar with the houston ver - but bit more powerful
letting that intro melody wind its way up before flooding
down imho.

a few different mixes or demo versions would be great, i
imagine he might add some tracks at a later date to bump it
up to a full albums worth?

pthex sounds like acid in the middle of a storm going on

abundance sounds like a sci fi horror movie soundtrack

mt1 is the famous track that we've all heard the live
version too, sounds more lush in this version

1st 44 sounds like DSP fx going haywire, kind of ambient
techno-ish
