what was the most bizzare moment of your life

Mine might have been that I was waiting for my driving
instructor to turn up for a lesson and I turned the radio to
find out he had been murdered and his son who killed him
crashed the car I was learning to drive in while trying to
do a runner

That's pretty bizarre.

---

What I found bizarre is when I learned that one then-friend
of mine - who I had liked for his "open-mindedness" - had
been in prison for 2 years for being part of child
pornography ring and had shared pictures of 8 year old
children getting raped.

It was also pretty bizarre when one girl, who I had enjoyed
a few coffees with, killed herself and her two children a
short while later. .. I remember looking at her fingers
rolling cigarettes. Little did I know that those fingers
would kill 3 people a while later.

mine was, when i got woken up and was being told that i just
missed the orgy in the swimming pool, which was before i
punched an old, quite famous man in the back because he
wanted me to. in between i took a lil road trip in a golf
car, high on booze and weed and got lost, which made me
wander through the empty streets of a big american city and
finally find myself in this institution with a huge
hangover, that got cured by taking a walk with isabella
rossellini and her dog in the forrest. also a lil lady which
makes a lot of money with painting on naked people these
days, gave me a blow job in the basement of alec baldwins
holiday home. she had the hugest tits i have ever seen in my
life… it was a bizarre month

Welt made me think of the Relay. A small local watering hole
where I used to hang out. Out of the six of us who used to
meet up there (there where 3 tables maximum) two died, and
another is in prison for the murder of two people. No, he
didn’t murder the other two!

I stopped going.

Honestly, and I’m sure it’s the same for us all: I have
tons of very strange things that have happened to me. I
don’t know where to start.

I took a picture of a ghost in my home and a few weeks later
my ex wife who is into tarot cards and who communicates with
ghosts, told me he was looking at us, chilling... Was a
precious time, love my life!

she just said he was here looking at us, he was not harmful
or whatever. I like that ghost. He also ran the tap water by
itself not long ago. It's mostly the fact that me and my ex
wife are still friends and that she helps me with her
predictions that's so cool. Funny also how she got
distracted as we were in the cards sessions, she suddenly
said, BTW the ghost is just here :) Love it

A lot, and they’re not quantifiable.

I once went to bed (sober may I add) and once I had put the
light off noticed from the corner of my eye a very odd face
with tentacles on it. It was half Ganesh half vilain from
pirates of the Caribbean. I looked at it, expecting it to
disappear, but it stayed. I looked away and yet every time i
looked back it was there. I got up to turn the light on on,
not even daring to look, and needless to say as I got back
into bed and looked: it was there. So I decided not to be
scared, not to worry, and to look at it. I remember thinking
that no special effects could manage such a feat. The face
was morphing continuously, eyes, mouth, the trunks and
tentacles. It had a beige like skin tone, and I could not
work out what it wanted me to understand from it’s
presence. I understood quickly that although it’s
appearance and crazy morphing would have freaked out most
people, it was not malevolent. After what seemed like 25
minutes I fell asleep.

I woke up, and this is when I freaked out! I was not in my
home. I instantly felt I was below ground, in a basement
maybe. There were no windows. I was in a red, circular
shaped bed, and weirdly the walls were entirely covered in
wooden clothes pegs. I panicked, and my first thinking was
that I must have partied and end up somewhere weird. I
worried that i must have lost my dog, because by then I
remembered going to bed and seeing that “thing”. My mind
was racing but I was reassured as I went to feel if my dog
was in the bed and that he was. I started to calm down and
wondered why the fuck the walls were covered in clothes pegs
to such a degree that you couldn’t see the wall itself. I
went to touch a peg and just then the pegs disappeared and I
soon realised I was in my room. Wtf.

I noticed something was different though: the door was shut.
I went to the door to open it and it was locked. The key was
not in the door. I started to panic a bit because from the
inside there was no way I could kick the door down, as id
have to take

... to take the frame with it. It was so strange because in
13 years of being in that place I had never locked that
door, as there’s absolutely no reason to. I stopped to
think, started to wonder what the flying fuck was going on.
I looked down in despair and there it was, the key, on a
white blank envelope.

Even With LSD you’re far more in control (if you can rem
that) than you realise, and that’s I what thought was
happening, some flashback from decades ago. But this
creature, well it’s face, would not disappear, no matter
what I did. It stayed and it looked at me. The key was not
being afraid, and just looking back. I had tried all I could
to make it go away, and I was now starting to see this in a
positive light. The only sense I can make of it was that it
was benevolent, and I felt that once I let go of any fear I
harboured.

Obviously that tied in with the clothes pegs room the next
morning, being locked in, and then the key on an envelope,
it was a very strange episode.

The md makes me far more receptive emotionally to the LSD
while giving trips that are strong and constantly changing
without being intimidating. Just constant new rapidly
evolving scenes. Even normally unsettling things (like when
i saw hordes of people with pitchforks and torches
surrounding our house) arent a problem because theres a
heightened awareness that you're tripping. You do lose a lot
of the introspection but the insane tumbling cavalcade of
sights and sounds is just nuts. Have some ket for the
comedown and youre sorted.

Fuck i want to get messy now, its been years.

Wow. That sounds intense.

....And reminds me of a much less intense experience I once
had. When I was young I would pass out rather easily. So one
day it happened (again) and I passed out. But rather than
passing out and then going back to normal immediately (as
was usually the case) I was in a strange intermediate-state
for a while.

Suddenly I found myself in a state where: I couldn't
remember what had just happened. I didn't know where I was.
I was seeing colours, but my vision was completety blurry. I
saw sort of moving, colorful dots and patches, but no
objects. I heard 'abstract' noises, but no meaningful sounds
(sounds that belong to specific objects or words, and so
on). And the strangest thing: I was 100% certain that I'm
alive right now and not dreaming but didn't know what
the hell is going on and how I ended up in that situation.
So part of me was getting really nervious. Another part of
me was relaxed and thinking: This is too absurd, this
situation will become clear very quickly. And then my
perception got clearer and it dawned on me that I had just
collapsed (in an internet-cafe of all places).

i may have told that story before, although it just happened
this summer. errr, here it goes: my better half wakes me up,
saying "whats that noise?". i heard some sort of banging in
the house or staircase. i live in a house with 6 flats and
immedeately thought of the neighbour downstairs, because one
time, when there was a loud banging, i went down in the
break of dawn, just to find him knocking on his door, drunk
and in his underpants. he kept on banging and leaning
against the door (only his dog being in his flat). so i
asked him if there is anyone in there. he has a hearing
impairment and his hearing aid was, you guessed it, in his
flat. luckily he reads lips so we still somewhat managed to
communicate. i gave him my phone to ring up his mum, with me
telling him what she answered so he could read it off my
lips and so on. but coming around would take her a while, so
eventually i fetched a ladder from the basement, climbed up
and openend his living room window which was tilted, only to
be barked at from his dog. no way i was gonna go in there to
open the door from the inside. he was still quite drunk and
in his underpants so i had to drag him out into broad
daylight to push him up the ladder and into his flat. he
also had a leak on the basement stairs...
actually i wanted to tell the other story^^

or not, heres the other night.
so, we hear this loud banging at night. i think of my
neighbour again at first but this tine it sounds really
agressive. so i think it may be an intruder or rambling
madman of some sort, so i put on some trainers and shoes and
tell my girlfriend to fetch a phone and a bat we took from
our martial arts school. whilst i go down the staircase i
hear some yelling too. the banging seems to come from the
basement, which is closed and unlit. i open the door and
turn on the lights expecting some trouble down there, maybe
a drunk lost or rambling or what could it be? banging gets
more intense and i hear some guy yell for help "she wants to
kill me, call the police, shes gonna kill me!!" so itell my
gf to dial 112. you cant imagine how puzzled i was. i
stepped to the cellar of my opposites neighbour and the guy
in there keeps calling for help. i start to calm him down,
everythings gonna be alright police is coming etc. while my
gf is on the phone she says the neighbour is talking to the
police too now. my gf hangs up and we await the police,
whilst hearing what my neighbour claims on the phone. she
says he (the captive) is always making trouble and
misbehaves.....

...so the police finally arrives and asks whats going on,
whos cellar is this, etc.. they knock on the nieghbours
door, who claims she hasnt got the keys to her cellar. her
ex-husband hwo she took the flat from hasnt left her the
key. (fyi she has been living there for 2-3 years alone by
now) so the police tries to break open the door. its a
pretty solid one and wont open. my gf and me kind of getting
tired of this nonsense, so i ask lest they needed us for
anything, wed go upstairs and call it a night. were ok to go
so we leave the scenery. the office, quite young tries to
impress his hot colleague by trying to kick in the door, but
as mentioned pretty solid, wont open. so after we get in bed
again they knock on our door and ask for tools. i gave em a
screwdriver i think. and get back to bed. but no sleep in
reach cause now the police is banging constantly. i decide
to get back up and bring them more tools to get done with
the job. office already bleeding from his hand trying
frantically to get this damned door open, happily takes my
pipewrench and goes at it again...

good stories!

I had a similar story of when I used to live next door to a
cokehead woman who used to play Lionel riche, dancing on the
celling at 3 in the morning, one night her jailbird
boyfriend shimmied up the drain pipe, somehow got into her
flat and started beating the shit out of her, police were
called very mess,

...finally some last cracks and he broke the lock that was
riveted into the door. some poor fellow comes walking out
there, saying he was lured in there by the neighbour
pretending to get engaged with him in some kinky tie up sex,
but instead she just leaves him tied to the chair and locks
him up. he says he was able to untie himself but couldnt get
out. i hear her from upstairs that hes lying and its a plot
by her exhusband to get back at her or so. to this day she
claims it was a setup. i doubt she was gonna harm him im
pretty sure she locked him up for whatever reason. anyhow it
stays a mystery.

Great stories! Russell... dude, brrrr! I'd write that
motherfucker up as a novella. I wish I had some "strange
stories". My estranged wife, who is the soberest, most
straight-laced person possibly in the world, saw the classic
UFO thing of several lights in the sky breaking apart and
then getting together and forming... formations. This is in
South America so probably a CIA ploy to get the population
to freak out.

You'll lol at this one and tell me I'm a doofus, but once I
walked past a friend's house, and I saw someone at the
upstairs window. I wasn't planning on calling, but then I
thought I would. So I knocked on the door and no one
answered. I must have spoke to him later about it and he
said there was definitely nobody in the house at the time
and we did an "... oh god"
