I honestly, and without any arrogance, call it music. Sometimes I will add 'electronic' if I need to explain what kind of music I make after being quizzed as to what instrument I play, or if I'm asked "what kind of music does the Aphex twin do?" Sometimes people I meet need to feel comforted by genre definition. Boxing. It can be useful, but ultimately it's all just music. |

Chillin'. mohamed - I guess that's what it was-- I thought you were in Egypt, but you were in Australia or something like that. Aaaaanyway..... Who knows how many xlt or watmm or braindance or phorum or ninja tune or warp comm or whatever electronic music forum members we've seen on a city street, but we never knew it was them cuz they didn't have a huge avatar instead of a head. We did a braindance forum group meetup in London like ~6 years ago, and it was pretty good. What was weird was not referring to people by their board names. |
