Great. When you get back from the Food Bank you can tell us
what your expectations are. Maybe you've seen the trailer,
or you saw Fasbender on Graham Norton as you shifted to
avoid bedsores. Maybe you're not fussed at all and are just
passing on information. Maybe because zany Rik Mayall's not
in it you don't care, but at the same time you're cheered
that Eddie Hitler's in the new Star Wars.

My two cents (scents). Prometheus was a joyless, messy
clusterfuck. This looks like it's doubling down on that. I
understand getting a back story / origins / prequels but ...
do we need to go all the way back to a character's fucking
DNA?

I'm going to watch it but yeah i could go into depth about
what was wrong with Prometheus, it had a good script at one
point until that hack writer got hold of it, the scripts
seem to lack ingenuity nowadays

Yep, looking forward to it. Open minded.

(I'm one of the few who enjoyed Prometheus)

^ I enjoyed it, what i didnt like but ive got over now is
the space jokey should have been much more alien and weird
rather than just humanoids in a suit, the idea that they are
related to humans is prosaic and obvious to me,

The fact it's obvious to you, that possibly they would
create in their own image, like God, shouldn't be a bad
thing.

its just you know alien its in the title, if we were made by
aliens, then they arent really alien relative to us, the
film should be called freaky ancestors

i do like the film, i have it on blu ray, its far from
perfect as an alien film, but compared to the average sci fi
in the cinema its still quite good, i wish i was scarier

offline freqy on 2017-05-09 22:41 [#02519473]

damn i should have spent more time on that gag. i was a bit
tired.

professional methane wiffs could have been some type of
german home efficiency competition youtube program that i
was watching before i went to the cinema or something along
the lines.

ill just stick top my cracker jokes..

offline freqy on 2017-05-09 22:44 [#02519474]

i have no idea why i am bothering to type. that was not even
close to a gag other than ,..promethanewiffs sounds so very
slightly like prometheus. and for ones whiffs to be used
professionally and efficiently to heat bath water and charge
ones mobile devices.

in a cracker once i got a joke that was:

answer: one cow standing behind another cow

offline freqy on 2017-05-09 22:54 [#02519478]
Points: 18724 Status: Regular | Show recordbag

" grooann" noise from me to that gag.. like you hear at
the dinner table when cracker jokes are read out.

im gonna watch prometheus this week, are you?

i cant remember how it ends so i need to get to that bit

i think a squid thing attacks someone.

Oh, don't fret, Freckles. Hyperflake is the most mediocre
person involved, he didn't even get it. Probably so off his
tits on ketamine, and pot noodle.

emanating out of it, i thought of it containing a sleeping
