Not enough running or blades. I understand why they don't
have running with blades, that would set a dangerous
example. But come on it is almost as bad as that Lion movie
with no lions in it at all.

clucking retarded?

it is true though every film needs about 20% of people
running and milling about in a panic, its for american
audiences it you see, they can't comprehend the story
otherwise cos they can read facial expressions

The best case scenario is that it isn't abysmal. Ryan
Gosling is a bile-rising choice and the inclusion of
Harrison Ford in a cameo role is a transpicuous attempt to
earn enough "street cred" to pass the torch to a younger
generation which is largely incapable of appreciating the
type of film a Blade Runner sequel ought to be. It
will be exactly as generic as required to reach escape
velocity from the studio board room via the executive
producer's cock ring and is sure to test well in the focus
groups staffed by kids too busy playing DOTA2 on their
tablets to take notice or care.

I think he's just blank and charmless. I mean, that's
alright if that's the role he's playing, and maybe that
suits this new Bladerunner (which I won't be in any great
hurry to see). But, I don't know, he's kind of ... just one
of the current slew of "pretty" actors that don't inspire
much. I'm sure it's my age, and that "things aren't made for
me anymore" but... I don't know, I take exception to the
guy. I'm sure if I saw him on some chatshow where he breaks
from type I'd be all "Hey, that guy's alright!" (like I did
with Kevin Bacon (Kevin Bacon on a chatshow, not me watching
a chatshow with Kevin Bacon (and not that I ever had any
doubts about Kevin Bacon (I think Kevin Bacon should've been
in the new Bladerunner))))

Actors I dislike for a similar reason;

Jake Gyllenhaal
Tom Hiddleston
(think of a fucking woman "actor"....)
Keira Knightley

+ a billion others whose names I'd never know.

he isnt very charismatic is he, Tom Hiddleston has more
charisma but he is very smarmy and comes across as totally
self involved

I've not watched the Night Manager, maybe he's good in that.
I saw "High Rise" (at the cinema, get me) as I am a fan of
Ballard but he didn't endear me to him then (didn't help
that the film's 30 minutes too long). Could never see him as
Bond. Again, I appreciate that the market now is for blank,
charmless pretty boys/girls (seems what most young people
are like, unless they're feral).

As my partner reminds me, "it's not for you", as I rail
against everything and anything before mercifully falling
unconscious, drunk.

i mean Harrison Ford was good looking when he was young, but
at least he could bloody well act. When i saw the trailer
for new blade runner whats his name just looked like he had
wondered on to the set from wardrobe and was wondering where
he was

He also doesnt look like he was ever a detective, ford has
that grizzled look like he has lived, the new guy looks like
he used to work as a shop mannequin, perhaps he is a
replicant then who knows
