i was worried it was too off-topic, but i'm glad i linked it
now. i can tell the vid i linked is the same 96kbps mp3 i've
had on my heard drives for fifteen years or something... and
then youtube has a playlist set up with "get down make love"
next, part of that same batch of 96kbps mp3s. i figure a lot
of people had that same pool of files -- for whatever
reason, it clustered -- and then youtube has managed to suss
it out by osmosis. the people who wrote the code to manage
that won't understand even half of why the vids they match
up work so well because of shit like this. RIP trent
