Go on, go on, live your fantasies, man, don't let the society oppress you, think of Peter Kurten.

As long as I dont watch it, I think they're good. I don't always have to care about the lyrics. A few of the members are genuinely talented. On the surface it looks a mess but I couldn't drum that tightly for shit nor money.

commercial only because they are on magazine covers left and right and lunchboxes
the band slipknot CANT last forever so they are getting paid and saving it for that rainy day
~~you can be selling billions and still complain about life, driving your $100,000 car, reminising on your shitty days ago, or can you ?

So some of you like them and others don't.
I used to hate them but I got into them. So I like them now. I can lift weights to them or listen to wait and bleed and enjoy it. others can't. *shrugs* I don't worship them or anything.
Mate, feed, kill repeat (or whatever it is) is really odd compared to their other stuff. Give 'Do nothing' a listen, sounds like they are taking the piss out of aerosmith or chilli peppers. Cool.

Ok, im gonna get kicked in verbally for this. Slipknot are cool but thats only because i was brought up by them and Metal was my first musical love. Seeing them live was cool and an experience i will never forget. Probably because they were so full of energy. i agree with Spikee Dragon, we all have different views...and this is mine :)
Also...i would like to point out that Metal heads are not oblivious to other music. Some are (and they are pricks) but the majority arent. I have metal heads who love boards of Canada. AND i would like to point out this. In the latest Kerrang (an English magazine for Metal bands) they had '50 things you MUST do at Reading and Leeds'. And one of them was 'Go see Aphex Twin'. They actualy gave him justice by saying he is like nothing youve ever heard before and urged people to go and watch him
and im spent...

what's the point of posting an anti slipknot thread on an aphex twin site? beats me.
and btw, the irony is a tiny bit too thick there
