They used to live here as kids, and the name comes from The National Film Boards of Canada, which made these documentary type films which inspired Boards of Canada's music... the music from those films used to sound old and aged like BoC's music does now... |

Angelina is intensely beautiful. Whenever I watch Hackers, I think "If I was a boy, I'd so be into her!" Just to add to funk's BoC explanation, the boys each have/had family here, and spent many summers here as a result. The Film Board of Canada (Board is definately singular), was responsible for the production of many many short films, animation, documentaries which were a staples of Canadian t.v. programming. |
