but to go on about 1 artist when there's millions of others seems absurd. if u dont like it then move on. im listening to alan price atm, just go for it. follow what u like or go for something off slant. save your angst for something worthwhile. thats all. |

It's not angst, it's just expressing my opinion to elicit other people's. I have yet to have my opinion changed, since I haven't listened to a whole lot of FB. But enough to form an opinion, I might add. Maybe I will listen to Kirlian Selections all the way through and come back and say what I think. But I have listened to all the tracks people suggested and I liked none. Therefore my opinion prolly won't change. Also, I could spend that time having a wank instead, which is better than any music ever! Even acoustic Flim performed by Lunapark, maybe. :/ |

Why are you doing this to me? It is just as bad as first time I listened, if not a little worse. :( The second half gets almost enjoyable/listenable, but not. At One Last Night is the closest to being okay so far, but MG, Blackout sounds like a 12 year old practicing scales and putting a few random notes in between. The rest of the songs are SO FUCKING FLAT and soulless e.t.c Autumn Insomnia Sessions is like the antithesis of the best that can be achieved with those kinda percussive sounds. Amon Tobin Permutation being a good example of how you can get great stuff out of such sounds. (Sorry about my terminology, I dunno nothing about Electronic music jargon). |

Kirlian Selections gets more bearable toward end cos Jordan isn't trying so hard to be the next Twin. But it also makes it more boring. And slightly pretentious, cos he seems to be trying to evoke a lot of complex emotions and images. I bet he thinks he has synesthesia, lol. |

I recall awkward school discos dancing by myself, then later being violently raped by the other boys in the toilets. Then my dad (Pidgin) coming to the rescue and beating the others up. But then he raped me for my punishment as I didn't stand up for myself in the first place. THAT's what Blue means to me. So no sir, I don't miss Blue, sir. I don't miss Blue at all!
