I just saw Samurai Champloo Vol. 1 last night and it kicked ASS.
Very good fighting, good soundtrack that came with the disc.
Loved it. Cant wait to watch the rest.

I have that too...I love Spirited Away.

Everyone starts off with Akira. if they understand it, get
it then its done. I absolutely Love Hellsing, or Perfect
Blue, or cowboy Beebop.

Samurai Champloo was done by the people who did Kill bill,
Cowboy Beebop & Animatrix. So you know its good.

I heard about Kite, there was something with an M--- F--
something I dont remember I'm dying to get it, its Hentei.

I really enjoy some anime but sometimes I find them
overblown and a bit dissapointing ultimately, such as Akira.
And plus it's horribly nerdy and or pretentious.

good as Wong Kar Wai's other films though. Days of Being

i started watching pokemon when it first started, but
stopped when all those clone shows appeared, yugiho, digimon
whatever...

when i said i cant take anime seriously what i meant was i
can enjoy animated humour, because a joke is a joke, but if
i saw animated voilence like if a character was about to be
horrible cut in two with a chainsaw, i wouldnt be shocked in
the same way i would if it were a live action film. in the
same way, if i saw 2 animated people having sex, it wouldnt
be as arousing as actual porn, if something dramatic
happened (like someones friend dying or something) i wouldnt
be as affected as in live action, and so on.

but as i said i have limited experience of anime, only seen
clips when flipping channels or what i read on the video
boxes at the shops, so excuse me if you think ive have got
the wrong idea about it...

Damn, I seriously forgot how much I like Iria, because I
haven't seen it in years.

I love the style of it, the mushroom buildings, the creative
weapons and flying cars/spaceships, the main villain (who
doesn't say anything and is a total killing machine), the
main hero (who is really smart and hot - usually hot chicks
in anime are total ditzes or overly 'cutesy').

I need to go watch it again.

porn

music too.
Samurai Champloo
Theres one based after The Count of Monte Cristo which the
story line is pretty good but the animation style is just
beautiful and unique.
