I've got a .Mac account (well iTools, when .Mac was free)
and on October 14th they're going to take it away from me
unless i cough up $49.95, which I don't want to do.

Does anyone here know of a good FREE POP E-mail service (not
a web mail account) ?

it's basically a way of pulling in your e-mail from other
accounts all into one place. say you have 3 hotmail
accounts, and you want to check them all at the same time;
you can do that with a POP account

...and you don't have to read your e-mail in a web browser
(don't have to be online)

I'm not sure if this'll help, but this is what I found about
redirecting a .mac account.
