It seems like Canada is the place to be....

-Boards Of CANADA

-Brothomstates' brilliant track "Jak Got Stuck In
CANADA..."

-The "most" active users on this MB are from CANADA
(Ophecks, REFLEX, The_Funkmaster, AMinal, aron..)

-Venetian Snares is from CANADA

-The Rephlex Crew is going to CANADA this winter

Coincidence?

What are you canadian? I hate how stuff in the media is all
up about stuff that is canadian. Makes us look desperate and
deprived. I don't like it.

In the simpsons episode when they visited canada for the
last 5 mintues of a show I remember on TV there was big
build-ups to the show and in the news. It was awfull. They
had live coverage at some place where everyone was watching
the show during commericals.

Rephlex guys are coming to the US too. I think I'd rather
live in Canada. I get tired of Bush threatening the world...

Yeah, but Boards of Canada aren't actually from Canada. At
first i thought they were, and I thoguht to myself, "wow,
cananda has some cool ass music nowadays."

There are a few good thigns from canada:

Kids in the Hall
Tom Green

Oh yeah, can't believe I forgot about the Kids in the Hall.
Some of the best sketch-comedy I've ever seen.

You should check those UN rating standards. It's something I
used to tell my friends that boasted canada as #1.

One of the 3 main rating stanards is life expectantancy.
This, aside from lifestyle is drastically determined by
race. One reason Japan ranks quite high.

I don't like american policies but from a financial
standpoint it would be much better for me to live there then
canada. Though this could be said for a number of countries.

There are some really great canadian entertainers in
american television but musically I only listen to the
v.snares and God Speed... that's not to say there is not
more.

canada is getting "americanized" like hell though... as is
the rest of the world, for the most part.

anyway, canada has the coolest city: montreal!

ok i'll let you guys in on the secret:

the reason that canada is so active in electronic music and
on this message board despite is small population is...

aphex twin had himself cloned
about 31 million times
canadians are these clones
he chose canada as the large, empty country, rich with
natural resources, as the place where these clones would
live together in a perfect society with good electronic
music being its one and only goal

there, its in the open now
