a great many of my friends (here in finland, that is)
dislike underworld. i actually found electronic music when
i heard dubnobasswithmyheadman (ok saw 1 was involved too),
and i still love underworlds music. so i would like to ask
you, whats so bad in underworld's music?

i havnt heard enough of it to make a judgement

but id say that most peoples main problem with them is thier
mainstream appeal... and thier repetitiveness

but again, i could be wrong

The new stuff is totally ass-licking pop. They sold out.

I like the old stuff like Rez, Spikee and King of snake. The
new single is like 'oh please take us to ibiza' and lacking
the raw Underworld charm.

I only enjoy two tracks by Underworld; Moaner and Born
Slippy, but they are more suited for the dancefloor. I
bought their live DVD some months ago, pretty good stuff for
partying purposes when your guests are non-electronica-fans.

i got the live cd, and it's pretty good if you're in that
kind of mood.

I don't like the live CD at all. The older Underworld
concerts were way better. I HATE King Of Snake but the new
album is fantastic. Sola Sistim is a fabulous track, Mo Move
is great. The whole CD has got a really chilled vibe. I'm
definitely getting it.

But nothing can beat Second Toughest In The Infants. That is
THE Underworld album.

Listen to Banstyle/Sappy's Curry and tell me you don't like
it, go on!

haven't heard the new cd, if there is a newer cd than
beaucoup fish, which was not so good. but second toughhest
in the infants and dubnobasswithmyheadman are awesome
records.

Pearls Girl is fantastic - both the song as the E.P.

Phatbert, where did you hear the new album ?? I thought it
wasn't out till mid-september ?
