The difference is that you should be extremely familiar w. the discograpy and truly love their work, also own a lot of their releases. I'm talking about passion here. Not a guru-wannabe w. some mp3's on your HDD and claiming to know everything about Kraftwerk. |

phob, you heard the kraftwerk album salsa cover versions by senor coconut? this is great, adds a new dimension. at first listen, it sounds like a joke but the more you listen to it, the more you appreciate it. well, as for being a guru, i'll leave that up to you to decide, i'll just tell you what i own kraftwerk - 1st LP on phillips (1970 - original release - red traffic cone) [no, you can't buy it] radioactivity LP trans europe express LP man machine LP tour de france 12" and jukebox 7" radioactivity 12" (william orbit remix) expo 2000 12" import expo 2000 remixes 2x12" import the mix CD computer world CD senor coconut CD so thats about half of what theyve done, i guess i AM a fan, at least did i hear they are doing new stuff, or did i just dream it? |

I have radioactivity on viyl (collectors item) man machine on vinyl autobahn computerworld the mix (all CD) red traffic cone is on sale in my town , monsieur leakage as is , I believe one with a green traffic cone ...... one of them contains a track "strom" which is lush ambient . So I CAN buy it , not many miles from where U live !! |

green trafic cone is the second album, and probably a re-release from last year you can also buy the 1st LP (red traffic cone) as a re-release yes said shop does have a nice collection of kraftwerk :) |

I have Expo 2000 Remix CD. That's IT. I conciously listened to a Kraftwerk LP the other day at a mate's house. I can't remember what it was called, only that it said "Deutscher Kleinempfänger" on the back, some kind of radio as the back cover. |
