Has anyone here come up with any new instrument concepts?
As in hands on and not computerized. Let's see what people
have come up with...

Ive thought about the use of a rope material to be stretched
within the confines of a piano body instead of the usual
piano string...

midi controllers ? midi guitars ? ah u mean uniqe own
builded instruments ? well.... 3 fingers do the job on my
table, making rhythms and breaks :) also spoons, knifes and
forks banging around in the kitchen, with a bit learning, it
sounds awesome....

at the airport in boston is an avant garde music thingy...

hard to explain... but these balls roll on this track,

it sounds awesome

i watched it for like 40 mins

something that thick would A. be too low a freq to hear, and
what you did hear, wouldnt be very accuarte. B. the tension
in the strings would be unbeleivable for the piano to have
to hold

Map: thats the exact same thing these guys were playing in a
Recola commercial here in Canada. Its a really sad
commercial that has some guys shouting out
'RE-COLA'....'RE-COLA'...its a throat losenge or
something...

I've always wonered what it would sound like if you put
violin strings in piano, or at least that type of string.
That might sound good.

a machine that bounces balls in a rhythmic pattern you set.
it'd drop the ball at your velocity and catch it, then drop
it again when the time comes.
