Every time i try to copy a sound, a warning pops up "a serious error has occured blah blah restart cubase blah blah contact blah blah" wtf? I can't even begin on a track without it popping up!
Has somebody experienced something like this?

It's probably some plugin causing the trouble(DR008 and SparkFX won't get along), move them to a temporary directory and move them one by one to you VSTplugins directory to test which one causes problems
It could also be a problem with the soundcard driver(if you use an SBLive and use hacked APS drivers and decide to go back to old drivers and forget to delete the APS drivers properly Cubase won't work)
A re-install of cubase might help...

I've installed that one for lower latency
Other hacked drivers(haven't tried them yet): http://kxproject.com/
