Amelie! Amelie! Amelie! Just saw it for the first time the other day... it really depressed the shit out of me, although I GUESS it's a happy movie. Or something. But it was melancholy and depressing for me, personally... can't stop thinking about it. And THAT'S a sign of a good movie. Also, like B3n said, Battle Royale is ggrrrrrreat. yes! Check "Le fabuleux destin d' Amelie Poulin"!! You won't regret it . This is a classic already. I think 'Memento' was pretty boring.... dunno... I had the feeling they were trying to copy some Quinten Tarantino. Carrie -anne moss is a good actress tho. I can't wait to see her in the new Matrix movie. |

MEMENTO is really good. especially because the guy's condition is for real, meaning there are classic cases in psychology where people actually have the same 'problem' (well, i know of at least one)... i'd go with SNATCH if there's a lot of people coming over. |
