Drives are cheap these days.

Yeah if you lost all that data - then it was obviously a
hardware not a software problem right? Faulty drive? No
one can blame MS for that.

As for Linux - I used it for a year and a half and it's
NOWHERE near as good as Win2k. A painful realization for
me.
