you know all those short tracks BoC has on thier albums...
mostly very short, inbetween tracks... no drums, just little
synth peices?

Well, i always though they were great in their own right...
so i made a playlist of my mp3s... just the non drum BoC
tracks

it actually totals around 48 mins, a full length release...

its quite pleasent to listen to as well...

its from my MHTRTC, Geogaddi, High Scores, Peel Sessions,
and IABPOITC cds. I just alway copy my cds to my comp. for
easier listening, and playlist making...

oh and there is one live performance I got off the net... it
was a private server... sorry!

Im yet to download Twoism or Boc Maxima, because my MAC isnt
connected to the net... (im on my parents comp for the
summer) but when I go back to college, im gonna download
them... and im sure theres more good tracks like this to put
in the list!...

no to mention more great normal tracks!

=)

Everything You Do....mmmm yes, a beautiful track.

That sad, broken tune in the beginning makes me think of my
baby daughter :)

It's also my wife's fav song by them (the only one in fact)

The Colour Of The Fire creeps her out ;)

1986 Summer Fire from Twoism should be on there as well Zeus
- ti's a beautiful, haunting little melody.

I haven't listened to Maxima in awhile, but here's a
chronilogical tracklisting, and as you can see, there are
tons of 'interlude' tracks BoC is so good at creating:
1 Wildlife Analysis (1:37) (97 seconds)
2 Chinook (4:39) (279 seconds)
3 Rodox Video (0:33) (33 seconds)
4 Everything You Do Is A Balloon (6:58) (418 seconds)
5 Boc Maxima (1:36) (96 seconds)
6 Roygbiv (2:23) (143 seconds)
7 Nova Scotia Robots (1:21) (81 seconds)
8 June 9th (5:15) (315 seconds)
9 Niagara (0:51) (51 seconds)
10 Skimming Stones (2:06) (126 seconds)
11 Sixtyniner (5:07) (307 seconds)
12 Red Moss (6:22) (382 seconds)
13 Concourse (1:41) (101 seconds)
14 Carcan (1:48) (108 seconds)
15 Nlogax (5:12) (312 seconds)
16 M9 (3:40) (220 seconds)
17 Original Nlogax (1:09) (69 seconds)
18 Turquoise Hexagon Sun (5:06) (306 seconds)
19 Whitewater (6:09) (369 seconds)
20 One Very Important Thought (1:05) (65 seconds)

Total Time: 65:13 (3878 seconds total)

Ignore the seconds bit...just an experiment with numbers

what about triangles and rhombuses? it's basically two
short tracks, since the first half and the second half of
the track are completely different. the first half is so
sweet, I always wish it would last longer

yeah... i wasnt sure about it when going through the
songs... all though it is mostly just ambient... it has that
drums in the background...

i wanted all the songs to be drum free..

BoC is a good thing. I think Everything You Do Is A Balloon
is also my favorite track. Or Telephasic Workshop. Or
Nlogax. Or Directine. Fuck... Sorry.

Zeus:
1 Sixtyniner (5:40)
2 Directine (5:11)
3 Iced Cooly (2:22)
4 Basefree (6:35)
5 Twoism (6:06)
6 Seeya Later (4:33)
7 Melissa Juice (1:32)
8 Smokes Quantity (3:07)
9 1986 Summer Fire (1:36)

Making a MD of the BOC shorties is a good idea. Think I will
do the same with the piano tracks for Druqs
