Did any of you get to catch this at the theatre? I saw it
twice, yesterday and today, it was much more fun seeing it
on the big screen.

i was very deceived by that movie, dont know what the fuss
is all about...

it was some kind of crappy teen movie that tried to be
suspensful but failed miserably.

Dannie Darko is brilliant, intelligent, well written/directed
movie. it's sci-fi/horror/dark comedy/drama all in one
package. don't miss this one, it's the most original movie
i've seen all this year, and probly the one of the most
intresting movies i've ever seen.

too bad it's not in the theatre where i live, yet. I would
want to see it on the big screen. I have it in divx format
on my computer, that's how i got to see it.

I saw it on video, and thought it was pretty good. I'd like
to see it again, though.

saw it on video, not even DVD, was underwhelmed either way.

wouldn't shell out the $9 at a theater to see it.

Cool, yeah. It's not surprising that it went over some
people's heads. I don't know if it'll show up at theatres in
your area considering it's available for rent now. I think
New York is still showing it though due to popular demand,
which is why they showed it here.

steve, i was wondering who indicated it went over their
heads?

Or was that conjecture based on you liking it and thinking
anyone worth there salt would like it too?

I would also hasten to say anyone could completely
understand that movie the first run through, nor could
anyone sufficently understand it without quite a bit of
analysis and discussion.

Oh wait, I mean it went over my head.

nice avater!

anyways...whent over ppl's heads...doubtfull, unless they
are fuckign 13 yr olds who've been addicted to crack and "x"
since in the womb, and favortie past time is playing head
ping pong with insudtrial strength magnets.

i have to agree with cortex on this one. It's not as good as
the hype on the MB promotes it to be. I rate it a 3.8 of a
possible 9.

the movie just didn't have any philosophical teachings
(other than divine intervintion/the existance of god), and
the movie was just trying to hard to come across as some
"anti-social" teen flick. Very simular to "Blood: the Last
Vampire" in this manner.

i'd rent the DVD, but never buy it, or rent it agian on my
own dollar.

I'm just giving my opinion, Echo. Don't take it personally,
if it didn't go over your head then you've got nothing to
get defensive about. It's just a movie.

it's cool man, I mistook you for being mean and sarcastic
when you were just voicing your opinion.

I was too quick to judge, my appoloiges.
