if you knew that when you died, it would be nothing, just
utter+total nothingness and non-existance, would you live
your life differently?

after death...

I don't know what to believe. I'm not afraid of death, and
would be perfectly sane and happy if I got some brain
disorder tomorrow and had days to live. I desperately want
to know what goes on, if ANYTHING, on the other side. I
don't know what I think.

But I'd definitely kill lots of people if I knew there was
no hell. *hisssss!!!!

This should be renamed "The Wizard Thread"

I'm more afraid of meeting Ophecks in the afterlife, rather
than satan.....

...I mean, he's scarey!

;)

to answer the question, Not really...I don't tend to
consider the afterlife, or lack there of, when making daily
decisions.

I just broke the wizard thread :(

ok ,.I've been dead (for a ? length of time) and been (I
don't know the correct word ,sumptin like
re-saisuidyif-tated??)....brought back 2 life through shocks
and shit.

when some geezer choked me,..

btw,this is true.

but uhm ,.my point is ,.I had a vision or dream or
unexplainable event that is embedded in my brain and I can
tell you I wish I stayed dead, 'cause it was the most
beatiful feeling U can have,.....

Ok rationally ,.now..I can contemplate ,and say: "maybe it
was hallucination ,or lack of oxygen"

but I had a complete feeling of relaxation ,.nothing
mattered,....I saw myself being worked on by the
medics,.....it was strange.

If I found that out, I'd figure out how to make myself live
as long as possible, because complete and utter nothingness
would be so flippin boring. If I weren't already dead by the
time I got to the nothingness I'd kill myself.

you dummy...you won't get bored of nothingness because there
won't be a you...when there is nothing it doesn't mean that
there is only you...your consciousness will cease to be

i heard that a chemical very similar to dmt is released into
your brain when you die and when you are born...this would
explain a lot, 'cause dmt makes you trip hardcore!

Okay, it's okay. I'm good now. But if you think about it, it
IS weird. Ya know? How can your being just not be? I
mean... how does your self just stop exsisting? And how can
there be nothingness? What IS nothingness? It's like when
you're little and someone tells you the universe goes on
forever and you don't understand how you can just keep going
and going and not hit some celestial brick wall...

nothingness and infinity are basically the same
concept...and i don't think we can truly comprehend either
of them...we can only understand some things that they
aren't

Haha, for some reason that last statement- "we can only
understand some things that they aren't"- struck me as
really funny. I don't know why, it just reminded me on a
school teacher or a chrink or something...
