it's finally up and shmokin, babee! let me know what you think!
there are a few streaming audio tracks on the main page, but the real gem is the LISTEN section!
there are two pages to visit with loads of audio, and a whack of new new tracks!
go to listen and take OPTION ONE then click 'play all' and you'll have unintusive CD quality stereo background music for hours!
enjoy and thanks!
THE NEW KNELL.CA!

i dont know what u mean by buried by your own underground and 98 tek coming from ucla... but im just telling you my honest opinion as a professional designer.
ill chek the music later im @ work and if u make good design without a grid make sure everything looks purposefully done the type looks more like an error or lack of thought.

thanks from another professional designer. not everyone views things the same way, i agree, but subjectivity often convolutes one's objectivity.
just the same yr opinion is duly noted even if i don't agree.
through your words, it's obvious our styles cater to different clients and we have dramatically different influences.
but enough of this nonsense, and thanks just the same! merry un-birthday!

'bout the site,.personally I don't like flash pop-up sites ,with arty-farty dripping from it.
Maybe it's just my Dutch dumb ass having trouble browsing through artistic creations,....but uhm I can't even design a white background in paint.
Your music is tops though,.listening 2 some flash (lo-fi) music now Xylem + ploem,......good shiznit.
Gonna DL some more

go tto he listen section and pivk option one. it has 13 CD quality .m3u tracks in stereo! those streaming ones sound crumby compared to 198kbps real audio!
check it out, and thanks for ze compliments! art is too subjective now a days, as you can see. people should make things on a more personal level, instead of creating what society spoon feeds them.
white backgrounds are overrated anyway! he he he!

I am a professional designer...the site's pretty good though I admit the 3d abstraction need a bit more definition...right now it's a bit of a blotch..contrasting with the clean surroundings

Tinzen: no problem! i checked out some of your stuff a while back. the weights aren't my choice, but you have a nice sterile sense of design.
it's what i meant by '98 tek. keep in mind that this is coming from a guy who turned down the chance to work with david carson back when he was in school, so that should tell you where my interests once were.
it's all about evolution. like switching form third to first person in one sentence!

the man is a genius, yes as is david carson, and paul rand. as a matter of fact no one has revolutionised GD as much as rand and carson.
adn i can see why you would like fella. he taught at yr school didn't he! there is a million things to learn from carson my friend! the main thing is thinking outside of the box! and giving a piece of paper or a screen some life. and you will learn from him that, unless the type actually serves a purpose, then it doesn't have to be legible.
thus yr squinting. he's a sociological designer as am i and that is why we got on so well.
web sites are so overblown with text that no one really reads it all anymore anyway.
if it looks like a button then people will rollover it and if the computer's cursor changes, then they were right>makes them feel happy for 'solving a problem' and they klik it.
purpose complete. people who don't stick around cuz they get frustrated>if they can't figure it out;fuck em.
if they don;t have the imagination to explore they shouldn't be on the bloody web in the first place.
it is all about the curiousity of power which is attained through knowledge, adn can only be obtained by a certain level of curiousity and imagination in the first place.
that's all knell.ca is about. that and the bloody music, which no one has responded to! save a few and thank you to you pholks. this has turned into a GD thread. crumbs. good-day then! listen to the tunes! knell.ca
