that is a cool bass part man... I'm really into this
Squarepusher guy (heh, you can really tell I'm a newbie
huh?), and some of the bass parts on Go Plastic are really
cool... nice and raggae like, or dubby... I've been told
it's more dub... but I thought reggae and dub were much the
same... ah well... the bass parts are cool!! :)

its sounds like someone saying
'its alright mate..sounds a bit like goldie' (or something
like that)
repeatedly, and sped up

dub and reggae are basically the same, just different
production techniques.
dub is the producer stripping a track down to its essential
components (drums and bass) and bringing in and out other
elements (vocals, guitar, organ).
the most essential devices of the dub style are delay/echo
and equalising. dub also tends to have more bubbly, smooth,
room-shakin' basslines. dub is said to be the predecessor to
hip hop, which is often said to be in turn the predecessor
to modern electronic music.

"haven't you been listening to a fucking word i said"

What's he say at the beginning of 'chunk 5' and in the
middle of "The Fat Controller Remix" on Vic Acid:
"They call me the Big Pill"
That EP is fucking amazing.....

He's talking about at the very end of the track, when that
little sped-up vocal sample is being played over top of the
think break outro.
