Perfect dark all the way!
The weapons are excellent (especially the auto-target
machine pistol) and the death match is a scream!
Tess and I have spent many a happy night teaming up against
a team of 4 enemy drones!

here's a good epitome of how distorted everyone's sense of
what is entertaining really is. 007 is way better. I bet the
cut scenes, the most movie like part, are what inspired
everyone to vote for it... or the fact that it's the most
recent of the two and therefore the "coolest" just like
confield and drukqs are OBVIOUSLY the best releases by aphex
twin and autechre...

PD is better coz it is more story driven, more
sneaky/evasive, the weapons are better, the combat is more
exciting and Joanna Dark is sooooooooo much kewler than
boring old bondy!

Golden eye best game I've ever played what was the follow up
? Any good?

Perfect dark? Thinking of a game out quite awhile ago mind
but think it was shadow something ... Started off your
character is a serial killer or something graphics were cool
-moody but it was just this one guy runnning around this
huge game gave up on it in the end.

Final word :-} Sounds like Tuvok or something Mega trippy
game. Get to ride on dinasaurs, please, anyone recognise ?

Perfect Dark was a much more refined game, more graphically
pleasing, better animation in everyway! But Goldeneye set
the standard!

perfect dark is better in every single area. but when you
think about it they both suck compared to most pc shooters
in the multiplayer area. but for consoles theyre pretty good
for fps.

The game you're thinkiing of was Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
1/2.
Part 2 had the cranial bore which attaches itself the the
enemy dino-persons forehead, burrows into their skull, and
squirts their brains out it's back end before exploding,
taking their head with it!
Classic weapon!!

turok 1\2\3 all sucked. lets see if they can make the new
turok evolutions just as bad as the previous 3. of course
it'd be easy to top any of those 3 games. you cant forget
rage wars or whatever it was called, that was a pretty
horrible game as well. yeah i agree flim-flam though, that
was a pretty cool weapon, pretty cheap weapon.

There is a Half-life 2 in production.....
Is concentrating on single player again with a much improved
Team Fortressy-thang!
Also, Counter-Strike is being sequeled, with a single player
version which will hopefully still be MPlayer-able!

Flim, I am cumming all over my keyboard. I knew about
single-player CS, but half-life 2 is the best news of this
year (along with max payne 2, of course). Life may still be
worth living.

Hmmmmmm......not sure!
It is usually a good thing when they keep putting a game
back, coz then you know they have given their all to get it
right.

Sadly though, what does sometimes happen is when they
finally get the darned thing out, it looks dated and
uninspiring!

Yup...great game, but defiantely dated on it's day of
release!
May I just say though, anyone who likes top-notch
first-person shooter games, with great AI and story-driven
action.....think Die Hard Nagatomi Plaza.!

Think it, then shoot ya'self as it is the biggest pile of
cacka I have ever played!!!
