My friend (who also writes IDM) had the idea of bringing a bunch of our cds to the Warp US Mini Tour in NYC cause there is like 7-8 artists playing, so they are gonna be walking around the club while other people are playing... so we were thinking about giving out our cds to them is this just evil? Or taking action? |

Go for it....my promotion idea is to get stickers and stick them over people's peepholes and ring there door bell....they go to door look through the peep hole and see Pandemonuim somthing somthing... |

Why not really u havn't got much to lose, the way i see it is they will listern to it...or chuck it in the bin...and i know if i am given a CD i usually listern to it first then decide whether to chuck it in the bin. Who knows u could be lucky and give to some little bastard who's dad owns a record company or somthing...plus u gotta start somewhere |

Sorry to be hogging the thread though...but a cool promotion idea is a sticker with a cool logo and then web page below, because people put them on there school diary's etc...(i do) and thats how i got into Aphex through his symbol |
