I became quite curious after seeing BoC discography at
discog...
Did anyone heard anything by them before Twoism? They gave
tapes to friends it seems.
Informations welcome!

btw: Twoism is pretty good.

Of course. Even if i don't think they ever sounded like the
Blues Brother...

PS: trax on twoism are available on other records (hi-sc &
Music has...), so maybe wehave already hear some music made
by BoC as a 3 piece band...

I have a couple of dubious tracks that claim to be from this
era. The ones that are most likely legit are called simply
"Track 12" and "Track 13". They are not full tracks. They
might be from "Closes Volume 1" since that release has that
many tracks.

They are unpolished like you'd expect ... one has a
distorted loop that sounds a bit like early My Bloody
Valentine guitar.

Not incredibly interesting - if this stuff is real maybe
it's best that their earliest material remain out of print.

I've heard BoC compared often to MBV, but I don't see much
similarity. I've only heard MBV's Loveless though.

yay! it's my favourite avatar ever!

I like this avatar too!

The comparison is a bit of a stretch, the distorted bit of
one of these tracks sounds like early MBV circa Ecstasy &
Wine, but on newer tracks they've moved on entirely ...

in interviews, boc say they model themselves on my bloody
valentines sound..i can see the similarity - the fuzzy out
of tune sounds and stuff.

loveless is amazing & isn't anything is pretty damn
good..thats more of a rock record.
