im kinda weird. ive been downloading pirated versions of
fruityloops and such for years now but i finally decided to
pay for it so i could get the updates sooner and not have to
wait for a crack to surface. and i figured they deserved it
after all these years. i also paid for orion after talking
to their people about a bug i was having and they assured me
that if i paid for it i could recieve a beta version that
fixed my bug. we'll see.

just thought id share.

hmm...I promised myself this if I got massive money:
• Buy FruityLoops
• Buy every damn release I have ever downloaded
• Buy Adobe Photoshop

Zeus...cSound is free.

but have you read the cSound book? it's $55 if I'm not
misaken, and more than worth each penny, even if you never
use cSound.

ill just get the best one...

havnt read the book yet... but Ill be reading it and taking
a class on csound with Dr. Boulenger soon (one of the guys
that helped make csound)

yeah... im duel majoring in composition and synthesis... so
ill be getting into csound hardcore...

majoring in composition and synthesis and you aint used sc?
:) im quite suprised - its much nicer to use than csound -
if you know smalltalk - and you can write anything in it.
eg. I have my own little sample editor written for it cos I
never used half the features on the commercial ones and they
were too expensive anyway. Check out
http://www.audiosynth.com.

its mac only though :(

Is this cSound any good??
can you make variation-music like in FL???

basically csound can do everything imaginal

its THE most powerful synth software

the only catch is its basically all done with code...

so its a real pain in the ass to learn...
but if you do... its virtually limitless

i like buying (audio) cds.
but i haven't bought any software or cd-rom for my computer
for years.
just because i'm never sure whether it will work or not.
and it's expensive.
i would prefer buying console video games.
but it's expensive too.
so i let my brother buy them most of the time.
so i have enough money to buy cds.
