I got the GI Joe movie on Divx the other day and had a jolly old nostalgic time. I used to have hundreds of figures and vehicles, and two HUGE bases. But I lost them all somehow. :-( I'd give my left arm to get 'em back. I guess I'm just a nostalgia freak. It's so fucking hilarious when Serpentor is chasing down some Joes in his flying thingy and screaming out ''COOOBRAA-LALALALALALLALALA!!!''. What an amazing movie. Anyway, isn't GI Joe awesome? The cartoons are just great... I need to download ''Arise Serpentor, ARISE!'' as soon as possible. I wish I had a channel that showed all the old episodes... until then, I'll get them and the Transformers off Soulseek. Cartoons kicked ass back then! Yo Joe! He'll fight for freedom where ever there's trouble. GI Joe is there. It's GI Joe against Cobra and Destro Fighting to save the day. He never gives up. Duke, Flint, Snake Eyes and Beachhead were my favorite Joes. Had all their toys... For Cobra... Destro was the man, and the Baroness was SOOOO sexy... I think she was my first crush. I wanted to fuck her even before I was capable of it. |

I always found it funny that no matter HOW many bullets each side used in battle, NOBODY ever got shot. But vehicles blew up all the time. Body count- 0 Vehicles destroyed- 65,834 And they had different color gunfire, the Joes had blue, the Cobras had red. Or was it the other way around? Either way, it's demented. |

heh, The GI Joe movie was just on all last week on Cartoon Network. Hahaha, Sgt. Slaughter in real life, how utterly terrible that is, so terrible in fact I can help, but laugh at the site of the poor guy.(financially speaking of course!!!) lol, and about the gun fire. The Joes stole Cobra weapons and the lasers magically changed to red. While they were still shooting blue. |

there were some cool stereotype characters like the ninja and the fat sargent... haha, the dubbed voice of Cobra in Mexico was really hilarious Cobra: "I wanna kill everyone, Satan is good, Satan is our pal" |

COBRA LA LA LA LA LA!!!!! hahaha! yeah i downloaded the movie too a couple of months ago.Serpentors scream is really strange! i laughed my ass off!!! And Don "miami vice" Johnson did one of the voices , that is soo eighties !! My favorite character was always Stormshadow. I remember one episode where he demonstrated his ninja skillz in the most badass way. There was these biker guys ( i don't remember what they are called , one has a flame thrower one a chainsaw etc.) that was suposed to destroy this big armor tank with there weapons but failed. Stormshadow attacked the same tank with a couple of ninja moves , just kicks and punches but nothing happened. The other badguys started laughin but after a couple of seconds the vehicle started vibrating and fell to tiny pieces with a loud crash! (You gotta love the unrealism in G.I.Joe haha!) He then said with his japanese accent "Ninja IS a weapon!" Shit! i downloaded like fourthy episodes but that scene was not in it =( If you got it Ophecks let me know. |

Yeah, I'm looking for some GI Joe episodes. If I get that one, I'll tell you. This site has pretty much all the episode summaries, I guess the one you want is somewhere in there. This is a great site for the ol' Joe cartoons, lists what shows each character was in and everything, interesting stuff. |

My fav GI Joe of all time is Firefly, hes like snakeyes but about 4 times cooler. Oh yeah. God, I still have him somewhere but lord knows what happened to all my other GI Joes. Anyone notice how GI Joe toys always had the COOLEST goddamned vehicles ever????? They never ceased to amaze my childish brain with their originality and total coolness. I still have a bunch of the 12 inch GI joes tho, and tons of guns, those things are cool too... but not as cool as the originals! :) |

Yeah, the vehicles were great... I remember this thing called the ''Battle Bunker'', it was a huge green armored tank with seats on the top and a space inside for a few Joes. Lots of cannons and shit... great stuff. And Legos are pretty great, too... I love them both, but I love the Joes more. :-p |

they were the coolest cause they were based on real military conepts. toys now suck! firefly was rad in the grey camo when his card read sabateur. then they revamped them adn he went flourescant green! adn had this spinny thing and a sword. this was during the ninja craze before the last issue #126 > after gijoe turned into an anti drug comic book and flopped on its stupid anti drug face! the bikers were called dreadnaughts ripper>jaws of life [stupid weapon] buzzer>chainsaw[evil violent weapon] torch>flamthrower[i want one!] they were lead by zartan then his brother adn sister zandar adn zarana joined as did thrasher with his swampthrasher and zanzibar with his skiff they also had the swamp copter and the little green jetski they utilised the technology of plastic that changed in the sun. i remember leaving them on top of the net when we were playing road hockey adn by the time the sun started to set the 3 were black! i just realised, i have no life.... |
