the song "dancing elves" is definately the greatest song i
have ever heard. thank you for making my life complete
artificialselection.
the progression in that song is just amazing as is the
subtle dynamism of the beat. i love it. i love it. i love
it.
thank you artificial selection.
thank you and god bless.
love,
the mutant death pengwin

Did I give you permission to introduce me!? Everyone
knows... I... *light slowly glows down upon me and a choir
sings in a single key somewhere* NEED no introduction...
plus the time you took doing so could have been spent making
my shoes shinier with a 3st scrubbing.

Pengwin, I'm seriously very pleased I was able to aid you in
your desire for a complete life. I feel so honored that a
stalker would choose me too. I havn't heard that track in a
long while, but listened to it again. It's helpful to know
which tracks appeal to other people (or pengwins... anything
with ears) This track is subtly complex but at the same time
very minimal... and looped too. I like that sorta, not too
much data, it just says what is necessary, not more or less
than what the elves need to dance too. I'm currently making
and almost finished with a really great track in my opinion
but am thinking about sending it to some label as opposed to
putting it up on mp3.com to see what happens. Thanks again
for coming through with your unconditional positive
regard... I forget how I made it but have the file on a disc
so can look at it when I want to know how, but I'm pretty
sure I used looped chunks of a beat like this:
aabbccdd
wxxyyzzw
see, one line in time loops twice, then goes on to a new
beat, loops THIS twice, repeat....... the other line does
the same thing but 1/2 out of phase with the other line.

I'm sure you'll each interpret that accordingly

thanks,

Tean beat... sounds like a pornographic magazine to me. I
still probably won't have anything to send for awhile
though, I can't really tell yet when I'll send anything, but
I'll write down on my hand in pen "send one to wayout", so
it will smudge and fade away thereby completely failing to
remind me. Now that my new track has the expectations of
being "great" to meet, I have the motivation to make it
greater than I would have otherwise made it, which is weird
since it implies that I'm too lazy to make something
relatively better just for my own parietal lobes. Now I have
to spend more time on it though.

By the way, death-pengwin, the construction of "dancing
elves"'s was also used in practically the same way (with new
sounds though) in the track "blue dye from melted smurfs"
(and "blue crayons from melted smurfs" is yet another
version slowed down) I have another version which I thought
was good like an evil dungeon version or something (but
these are all simpler older tracks than my newer stuff) I
guess I could upload that as well as quite a few other
things I made a fairly long time ago since I'm pretending to
post as someone else (the mutant death-pengwin) and giving
myself praise and asking myself for more tracks (and suckers
fell for the praise, heh heh)

ok...just dont wash that hand until you have it done...so
you can send it to me...and i can bitch at you about how
disappointed i was...thinking it was going to be some sort
of religious experience listening to your supposedly 'great'
track for the first time...as you led us all to believe

do you have any more ambient stuff available for listening
death-penguin?
the stuff you had on your minimalism site was pretty good if
i remember correctly

Death pengwin did make some awesome stuff, I have about 4
tracks on cd. My favorite was the one in a cyberforrest with
disturbed wolves. It was a subtle complex emotion expressed,
and the sounds were very well organized.

I got lazy with my "great" track and already finished it, I
lost interest with it. I also predict that I'll be too lazy
to send anything to any labels right now so I'll just upload
it to mp2.moc All it is is the same technique used in
practically all my latest creations, since it has such
potential to make interesting stuff, I can't quit fiddling
with it. I'm trying to get around it's limitations, but
there's some limitations that I just can't sneak around,
it's annoying. It's main limitation is that it's too
analogue, and thus un modifiable once the reactor starts
running. I'll upload more fairly soon I think pengwin. I bet
your praise is the longest most believable duration of
sarcasm in history, that'd be a great practical joke.
