first some american pilot DEFIED DIRECT orders and droped a bomb on canadians (killing 4, injuring 8)...
and now THIS:
(from yahoo.com) U.S. planes bombed a village in central Afghanistan on Monday after the U.S. military said American forces came under fire. Afghans said villagers were celebrating a wedding and that scores were killed and injured, including many women and children. Reports of the incident were conflicting. The Pentagon insisted the aircraft attacked a legitimate hostile target but suggested an errant bomb may have caused civilian casualties. More... (Reuters graphic)

sure, but america has no right to take a moral highground on the matter, considering for 2 years it continued to be isolationist and see it as europes problem. america would have sooner we all were taken over by the nazi's. And anyway, america benefitted from the war, unemployment was virtually zero and by the end its gdp was almost doubled! that and it took territories off britain and other countries in return for helping
right i'm off

im gonna have my little say,you all may not agree with it.
History.
Think about it? Remember when England was the World Power up until the 1900's or so?
Did they kill a lot of people while they were in power? Yes.
Hard to illustrate my point, but basically, its just history being repeated. Get over it.
If your country was a world power(Yes,ANY country) they would become like this as well...

but "get over it"!??!??!?! thats a pretty bad attitude...
should people in nazi germany have just 'gotten over it' and accept it!?
NO! should people in china just accept that country's human rights shit?
NO!
(of course the us isnt nazi germany.....) but to just "get over it" and accept this bullshit!? i dont fucking think so
if my gov is doing somethign VERY wrong, im gonna do something about it!
thats goes against the MAIN POINT of democracy! thats the philosophy that gave birth to the US itself!!! to not accept tyranical rule of some overseas empire!

well one of the reasons why there was the attack on 9/11 in the first place was because of us foreign policy esp in israel where the us has come out in support of basically what amounts to a form of apartheid against a native people... don' think the taliban didn't have reasons
on sunday the us decided to stop backing un funding for birth control and sex education cos abortion is wrong - but still there is a huge aids epidemic in the places the un goes to -
they went back on their promise with the kyoto agreement against greenhouse gasses of which they are the greatest contributor - went against imf rules by providing tax breaks for their own farmers instead of tax breaks for farmers in developing countries - every day the very right wing government dfoe something bad - then again corporate america which time after time is showing itself to be a bunch of crooks funded these fuckers who were'nt even democratically voted in - ring any bells ?

Although I did not like Nazism, there is nothing wrong with communism except for the fact that it was imposed with violence. This made it seem bad/evil to americans.
Normaly I wouldn't diss Capitalism but lately I've been noticing how much it sucks. Its one thing when you have 1 or 2 homeless people in your city, but when you start getting hundreds of them, maybe its a sign telling you the system is not flawless.
