I agree, I think astrobotnia is overrated. I didn't like those mp3's on rephlex.com that much at all. So astrobotnia part 1 is probably overrated in my opinion!

Astrobotnia pt.1 is great, this album has a special "lunar" feeling inside. I think he has been done inside a spaceship lost in the universe near Alfa Centauri or Tau Ceti.
My dream? I'd like to listen this album with a very great hi-fi stereo inside a planetarium... wouldn't be a great idea?

i'm afraid that, as i didn't download the mp3s and saw lots of people saying how amazing and great it was, i thought "well, this must be some amazing groundbreaker to have generated such a fever!" so indeed i led myself into a blinder -- no need to pile on top of me and drop the friendly guards just because i didn't say it was innovative or original

what do U all expect ?
have you *EVER* heard something talked up turn out as good as you'd hoped or even EXPECTED ?
Its human nature to expect something new round the corner to be that elusive perfect concoction, just what you've always searched for; but it never is.
But once you get over your initial dampened expectations, things slowly *GROW* on you.
All hype renders true appreciation impossible. Thats why its better when U uncover something unexpectedly, same in love, in friendship, art & music ..
thats just my view, don't mean to rant :)
