Without question my fav track from the early warp
catalogue. It embodies everything about how Warp used to be
imo.

Besides the AI comps and other artists on warp at the time,
is there anything as good as this still being released
today? Arne Weinberg is pretty close.

God I miss warp.

I wish I lived in the room from the cover of the first AI
compilation.

Today I smoked a cigarette.

Beaumont Hannant. Part of AI II, severely overlooked as an
artist. I imagine his works to be a continuation of the AI
series.

The Fairy Tale (Remix)

All of this sort of stuff is what used to be called "IDM" by
twats and twizzocks alike, but it's just classy music that
noone seems to make, anymore.

There's also Carbon Based Lifeforms, but now I've veered into
ambient acid.

Steinvordhosbn - you can live that dream in Second Life.

Brisk - can't think of anything that comes close although
Mrs Jynx - Trigger For A Train Of Thought is superb.

I remember Jivver saying Beaumont Hannant was a berk and
that put me off, though I had previously liked his music.
But that's me, fickle and inconsistent.

I am about to consume Sag Aloo

I need A Life before having a Second Life but would it not
be a Good Project to recreate in REAL LIFE that room? It
needn't that hard though I haven't seen Sapporo in shops
lately. But to get that 2D / 3D effect may require DRUGS

Whenever someone I like says something about something I
like or am looking into, it sways me. I try to be captain
objective, but it doesn't work when other voices get
involved.

I always liked Beaumont Hannant (he co-produced release to
the system afterall) for his music. No idea what hes like in
real life of course, but lets face it, most aritsts are
probably cunts. Just gotta keep the ego out of the music I
spose.

Cheers for the recommendations. Great stuff.
