Sounds to me like a Jack Dangers take on dub step. Dunno
but i think he might have a role in the sound. Can remember
sitting in my pontiac gtp with my friends smoking buds and
getting lost to Subliminal Sandwich. Some of the stoniest
moments ever :) Nothing records had a chance to be decent
but they fucked it up. Satyricon on Mute is a favorite to.
Something about those sci fi samples and modular sounds.
Anyways I like this new one.

The nice drum break from Spinning Round makes a return on I
Hold The Mic in a sped up form, and it suits the track well.
MBM has always had good drum breaks and I don't think the
ball is dropped here, I very much enjoy this one.

Sounds to me like you need to get more educated in the world
of jack's releases. Pretty much everything he's released
since the mid 90's has a dub feel to it. Enough of this
categorizing as dub step. Can't stand the term. It's
either hard or soft dub to me. And there's a lot of good of
each. But Autoimmune is very good. Good ears "Descent".

The drums from God O.D. still hit me, even if it isn't the
fuller drum breaks he uses today.

ummmmm in terms of catagorizing music by genre, dub and
dubstep are seperate world entirely. sure, some dub
producers (king midas sound, et al) have been moving into
dubstep, but to say dubstep is just hard dub is silly.

and yes, autoimmmune is very much mbm's take on dubstep.
children of earth was one of the first tracks to really melt
my brain with that bass. i just wish the album wasn't so
overcompressed - it seriously lacks some dynamic range.

mbm creates better music than the makers of "dubstep". mbm
make it seem like "dubstep" was created 20 years ago. after
which mr. Jack Dangers got ahold of some elf acid and became
a witch of the west, creating mixes upon mixes of open doors
to the mind, jagged little bits and pieces of covert
government agents, chasing after the newest electronic
sounds.
