ok.....so i saw this movie this past weekend......i liked
it. it wasn't as original as the first one, but not bad as
far as sequels go. the soundtrack is AMAZING........the mos
def/massive attack song played about three times throughout
the movie. anyway i'd recommend it for die hard vampire
movie lovers, action movie lovers, and movie
lovers....ehehhe

I saw it last night. Awesome. I unfortunately I have yet
to see the first, but I got bored so I spent money. I want
the soundtrack...

I thought it was cool, but not as stylish and original as
the first one. The vampire kills were a bit overdone and
Blade was too emotional, he lost some of his hardass edge.
Other than that, it was an entertaining movie.

I feel that if vampires were real they wouldn't be so easy
to kill...

I thought that Nisa was a little cheesy, especially the last
scene where Blade took her out the see the sun before she
died. The soundtrack is not bad though.

yea......i was like how did he get all 'into' her in such a
short time. it seemed shorter than the first. i love kris
kristopherson he's a good foil, but a bit underused in this
movie.

i was entertained tho, sequels have a lot to live up
to....=0)

i have not heard anything about the release date. i hope
alyiah (sp) was able to finish her parts, i think she did.
but i imagine filming two films II & III back to back is
difficult =0)

hehe blade ii wasn't as original as the original movie, good
observation LeCoeur :) glad you liked the movie tho. i agree
kristopherson was very underused, but it wasn't really an
actor oriented movie. as for matrix sequels, word has it
aaliyah DIDN'T finish her parts (i think she finished matrix
2 but not 3) and she's been edited out of the movies :( .
that may not be official tho, so we'll have to see. i still
wanna see QOTD :)

and Zombiekev - see resident evil. :)

blade sucked big time, i hated it. The first scene was
sooooo good, then it was like some other really bad b movie
after that with seriously bad acting.

i havent been to the cinema for a while now, still waiting
for something decent to come out.

hope i dont have to wait till the next LOTR film comes
out...

then again Minority Report looks like it could be good

Blade 2 was shite compared to the first one, all Blade's
bad-ass-ness was forced, the fighting scenes cut every half
second so you could hardly see what was going on, the
special effects were not much better than the original, the
soundtrack seemed pretty good tho, I'll probably download
it.

off topic but since we're talkin sequals,
Terminator 3 begins filming april 15.
the director is the guy who did U571 (sucked arse in my
opinion)
the new terminator model will be female.

why couldnt they get an extablished director for T3??
expecially with all the money they are going to be spending
on it. The most expencive film ever? most likely.

if i was the studio i would want the best director there is
for it.

for the type of film it would be i'd chose Ridley Scott or
someone similar. Someone with a bit of experience and style.

i wanted resident evil to be a horror film...very dark and
spooky...but what i've seen from the previews, it looks like
an action flick...

actually it's a perfect combo between action and horror,
it's well scary and gorey. not intelligent, suspenseful
scary but night of the living dead type ish. jaknow.

dont go to see an american action movie and expect it to be
anywhere near Oscar worthy

thats like putting your hand in a pile of feces not knowing
whether your hand will stank or not afterward

I saw clips of the fight scenese for Blade 2 and I thought
they were atrocious! Ive seen better fights anywhere else.
It looked so fake. I don't see how others think the scenes
were spectacular.

hehe.. that's right, but 'oscar worthy' isn't necessarily
very good either.

I mean.. 'a beautiful mind' and 'black hawk down'? give me a
break.

Yeah, and again as in nthe first one the CG let it down a
bit although not as badly as the first one...

i saw it with friends today... i had read some bad reviews
before, metacritic score was 47 or 49, and i was pleasantly
surprised!

it wasn't really groundbreaking, but i really enjoyed it...
:)

it had some good ideas [spoiler alert], for example,
the last scene with nyssa; a hero assisting a dying girl's
last moment at sunset is anything but original, but not when
the dying girl is cracking and burning... it kinda refreshes
a overused cliché :)

i burst out laughing at some fighting scenes too! ^^

sequel.

I finally got to see it and enjoyed it...not as tight and
lean and powerful as the original..but I found much to
enjoy...fight scenes were too long too CGI intensive(in that
scene with the two Vampires wearing hoods..you can actually
see the 3D models..heh)...The Bad Guys werent quite as
memorable or distinguishable as the first one..Dialogue was
practically non existant which was a shame..("I am gonna be
naughty..I am gonna be a naughty vampire god"..Quoting Quinn
from the first movie..is one of the funniest lines I have
heard a henchman spout :) )
But I forgave all the sins because of the reapers..what a
cool and descriptive and detailed invention...my favourite
horror creature since the original
Cenobytes..(Hellraiser)...
