so i'm back from a record fair, and saw these laying there
for +- 40€ each..:

-aphex twin - xylem tube 12"
-aphex twin - on 12"

and some others too..

is that much or not ?

don't know.

sounds spendy for on, but i guess that's pretty old in
actuality.

yeah, i came across some others which i bought (freeform -
glob for 5€, etc...)

but i really have problems with guessing what the right
price for a record would be sometimes.

the real question is what it worths to you.

personally i would never buy a used record..

it's difficult to correctly estimate a value, some may
charge silly dollars for it others don't know what have and
practically throws it after you.
but the main rule is that a record is worth what people are
willing to pay for it.

i would't have bought them for +/- 40€. but i have them
already, soooo...

1/3 of my collection is used. how else would i got those out
of print records, etc..?

but yeah, i din't get them because honestly 40€ is a bit
much indeed

That's usually how you get them if they are out of print.
So far they've all been fine, except for 1 record I got
(1986 printin), just because it was old.

I honestly don't play my records heavily, mp3 is more
convenient, but when I want to sit down and "listen" to
something, I put on the record.
