...well...I heard this story about a guy that couldnt get
his printer connected through USB. After 1 hour of USB
trouble-shooting, it turned out that the guy had tied (!)
the USB-cable to the cords on the back of the PC.

also the people that call in and can't figure out why they
can't send a fax, untill I check if they have put the cable

used to work on a software support line...hated it
immensly...I'm still phonephobic...

Programmers do not make good support people...

At least you're working for a big company (where it's easy
to hide..:)..

...yeah...this guy from a photo-store (a real geek) called
in 20 times cuz he thinks the quality on our All-in-one
scanners arent good enough...

Also...people that think i'm sitting in theyre local area
(I'm on danish support), that can't understand why im not
driving to theyre house to fix a printer. I'm sitting in
Sweden!

yeah...but still....everything is logged and analyzed. This
company is sooo american. This whole month we have to have
desklunch, cuz the service level has dropped 1%!

oh god i hate call supports. a shame you have to work there

i got a trauma of symantec call support when my old
workplace had massive trouble with their products. (their

ahhh.....im off in 5 minutes....and if one fucking caller
calls me in that time-frame, it will pick up the phone and
say "welcome to Toilet-support, if you have a non-fluching
