What has been the best live performances you have been
to...mine was (should I be ashamed to say?) the Prodigy back
in the early 90's aged about 14.

Yeah, mine was The Prodigy at this years Big Day Out in
Melbourne. It was incredible, they really know how to put on
a good show. Don't be ashamed of The Prodigy, they have some
catchy tunes, well just about all of them are.

i think it was in 98 at the hultsfreds festival where i saw
S.O.D. It was fun as hell!
Ive never been that drunk as i was at that show. it wasnt
the acuall show that was great. it was the people and the
vibe going. jumping in the moshpit hahaha!!!!

and yeah, i saw teddybears sthlm once and that was fun
too... they had this guy in a gorilla suit on stage that
they kicked and thew around with. i wonder how that guy felt
afterwards. they threw him down at the crowd and i think he
hit the...what do you call it...the fence?

Saturday night at the NME stage, The Shamen, 808 State, The
Orb and Primal Scream, then found the allnigher that
Underworld had put on in one of the backfeilds, Joey Beltram
played Energy Flash live, then when that finished at 8-9 am
found the Sugarlump tent where they played Eno's Appolo all
the way through, everyone lynig on the dancefloor totaly
spaced out.
A TRULY UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT!!!!!

Rammstein - 2001

They put on the best show with all the fire and lighting
and stuff I have ever seen if my life. Even my step dad went
with me and my friends and said the samething.

I'd have to say Beck.

The Orb was really good though.. although I think the LSD
might have assisted on some level.

NIN was also very good..

Abe Laboriel

he is a brazilian/mexican bass player. He visited my school
twice, since his son goes here. He is like one of the top
bass players around.

He played jazz/latin/ethnic stuff with his son, and his sons
friends.

it was truely amazing

i was almost brought to tears (hard thing to do to me)

he sang, had the audience sing, played

it was truely a spiritual experiance both times I saw him.

Melissa Ferrick and Ani Difranco, but really more for
watching the crowd than the singer. Strange that they were
concerts I was unwittingly dragged to - I tend to dislike
Ani's music on recordings. It needs the ecstatic hippie
crowd addition.

Radiohead ? LeCoeur I hate you ;)

Erm so far I'd say The Ozric Tentacles at
Southampton's Brook (small pub in the Swaythling area) in
00. I had never heard of them and was dragged there kicking
and screaming by a friend and they totally blew my mind
away. But then again I haven't been to any proper
IDM/Braindance gigs yet...
