i mostly just listen to Aphex Twin and im interested in other groups with similar stlyes. i listen to boc , autechre and venetian snares a litte.. but im addicted to afx most.. any other reccomendations i can listen to? i wouldnt have heard about vsnares or boc if it werent for the board for no one else i know likes idm and there isnt much about it near me and i dont really go outside this board.. ok well enough rambling .. any input would be much appreciated B o N k ~! |

Squarepusher is the obvious first suggestion :-D Then I dunno. I'm kinda new to the whole IDM thing as well. The Rephlex label is kick ass. Go for Global Goon 'n Astrobotnia also. |

Squarepusher sounds nothing like Aphex Twin. Squarepusher is all just drums and symbols and stuff. Don't get me wrong I love Squarepusher, but I don't see it being VERY similiar to aphex twin. |

Oh and if you want to check something new out check out Astrobotnia, all 3 parts. They are amazing. Deffinatly check that out. If I only had a credit card i would buy the albums. =( |
