Not everyone has the vast depths of intellectual superiority
such as yourselves. Relax, get over it. I was just curious.

Boards of Canada... that is quite possibly the dumbest name
for any 'band' I've ever heard of.

Yes, it is a dumb name unless you have heard the music and
know where it originates.

Anything related to Canada is not kick ass. ;p

I'll be fair though and check out some of their music. Any
recommendations for the first time listener?

Haha. What a well thought out, constructive criticism. Are
you going to tell mommy on me now because I made a comment
you didn't like? Oh, I bet I'm gonna get grounded!

So I've never listened to the Boredom of Canada before. The
sun will still rise tomorrow, the world will go on.

Take your prozac and relax, mmm'kay? Thanks. ;)

I never said boc was bad. I just said anything related to
Canada was, but I was also being facetious.

you can see their available records at www.music70.com

but there are more early things that you can get hold of if
you know where ;-)

Playing 'gyroscope' now. I've actually heard this before on
a shoutcast station I listen to, never realized this was who
did it. Little repetitive, but not bad either.

I refused to believe that BOC was so great until I actually
took the time to listen to some of their music, and I was
blown away.

Give Boards of Canada a chance, friend.

haha...people are always turned off of boards of
canada..because of the word 'canada' in their name... which
is funny.. considering the only thing they have to do with
canada is that they lived there for a while when they were
kids...

Boards Of Canada

Winter

According to the source quoted here at this link, a new BOC
EP will come out in September and a new album in January.
The full-length album is pretty much confirmed, the EP I
haven't heard about yet from official sources.

I STILL HOPE THAT A NEW EP WILL BE OUT !!
thanks
